We are all waiting for the Summer Game Fest show. The event is scheduled for tomorrow, but there are already leaks online about what we will see at the special event featuring Geoff Keighley. According to the rumors, the Borderlands game will be revealed at the next SGF.

  1. Borderlands 4 could also be formally announced even sooner, and we will simply get a closer look at the game at the Summer Game Fest.
  2. The information comes from the reputable leak-focused website Exputer.

The publisher of the series, 2K Games, has already confirmed that at this year's Summer Game Fest, it will reveal, as it described, "the next installment of one of the biggest and most beloved series." Borderlands 4 fits here perfectly, especially since it has been known for some time that the Gearbox studio is working on a new installment of the series.

The previous installment of the series, Borderlands 3, was released in 2019. Three years later, a spin-off in the form of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands was released, as well as an episodic adventure game New Tales from the Borderlands.

Summer Game Fest 2024 will start on June 7 at 2:00 pm PT. The so-called preshow will start thirty minutes earlier, featuring less important games.
