There is still a lot of time left until the premiere of the new World of Warcraft expansion. Nevertheless, Blizzard is already seriously ramping up its marketing campaign. The result of this is another narrative film that centers on the main adversary of the players in WoW: The War Within. The mysterious Xal'atath - once enchanted in a magical blade and now using the “borrowed” corpse of a night elf - has clearly attracted the attention of Azeroth fans (let's just say, for reasons akin to Lady Dimitresu from Resident Evil Village).

Even disregarding the reactions of internet users and jokes about Thrall's problems, fans warmly welcomed the new teaser for The War Within. Blizzard has not consistently delivered high-quality animations in recent years, which players have come to expect from the devs of many memorable trailers (whose author recently left the studio). However, in this case, the game engine video delighted the majority of viewers.

Players, of course, also take note of the narrative implications, and some are hopeful that Chris Metzen won't let them down (meaning: there won't be a repetition of the Jailer and Sylvanas from Shadowlands).

This is certainly not the last material dedicated to WoW: The War Within that we will see in the coming weeks. Beta testing for the new World of Warcraft expansion will finally start tomorrow. Selected players who have registered on the official expansion website will gradually receive invitations during the beta phase, providing access to four locations, a new playable race, eight dungeons, a raid, and numerous new features discussed by the developers in previous months.

World of Warcraft: The War Within will be released at the end of the year. For now, players are preparing for the beta and continuing to have fun as part of the Mist of Pandaria Remix event, which attracted crowds of heroes (despite some problems, via Reddit).
